A good monitor for gaming.

I'm going to buy a new monitor for gaming and i ended up with this

Zowie by benQ RL2455 24''

which costs 184 euros

then i found an AOC monitor 1440p 27''
http://aoc-europe.com/en/products/q2778vqe#product-detail-technical for 268 euros

And it got me thinking...
Is it worth to spend the extra money for a 1440p monitor?
Btw which of the two brands is better?

-I'll be using a 1060 6gb GPU

For a 1060 I suggest sticking to 1080p. The 1440p needs 980ti, 1070, or 1080.

its not really worth it to buy a 1440p, compared to a 1080p, because there is not that much of a difference
and I prefer the RL2455 because my friend used it and it is a pretty good monitor for gaming.
