Hello,
So I wanted to run the BF6 BETA and it required me to change to secure boot to on. I opened my BIOS and saw it was already on, I pressed key management and it showed succes. After that I wanted to turn secure boot off (to turn it back on again), however my PC screen went black and nothing happened. See below a list of my Motherboard and what I tried to fix this.
Motherboard is a GIGABYTE Z590D.
1. I tried to bridge the CMOS pins, after that still no signal.
2. I removed my GPU and removed the battery and put it back 5 minutes later. Still no signal.
3. I tried removing 1 ram stick and switching them, but of that didn't work. Still no signal.
4. I did a reset using my power on button (turn on, hold power button to turn off, 3 times, 4th try let it run). Still no signal.
5. I don't have integrated graphics, using a i7 10700KF.
6. Tried to Qflash with USB 3.0, but the qflash button didn't light up, I ordered a 2.0 32gb usb stick to try it again. Since only 2.0 seems to work well.
So when I turn my PC on, everything goes well. Fans start spinning, led lights turn on, keyboard lights turn on etc. My motherboard has these lights to see where the issue is, the red light stays on VGA.
Since I changed the BIOS settings with secure boot and I have no signal, it is logic that the VGA light is on, since no display is popping up (no post). The issue is not the PSU or other components, since everything worked well before I changed this in the BIOS.
Are there any other things I can try? I am going to wait for my USB 2.0 to arrive to try the qflash. But there are probably people here that know better. Is there anything else I can do?
