A good motherboard on a budget?

My budget is about $150 but I might be able to go a little higher.

1. I'm looking for a motherboard on which I can get FSB 400x9 for a Core2

2. I'm not interested in SLI at the moment and I'll only need one IDE port.

3. I'll only have 2-3 SATA Hard drives max and 2Gb of DDR2-800. I'll be putting an 8800GTX into it sometime in the future and I might want support for SLI later pending whether or not I'd want to offload physics processing on another card.

Can anyone recommend a board?

I was thinking about maybe a Gigabyte 650i Board when they come out depending on their price. Think I should wait? because I can...

You say that you aren't interested in SLI but then say that "I might want support for SLI".
That's the kicker - if you think that you might want SLI with 8800s that means an nVidia chipset mobo & for that budget a 650i (abit, Asus, MSI are all out as you know).

Yeah I think I'm gonna get a 650i board they fit just too perfectly into my needs. I was really posting this as more of a confirmation post, to see if there might be anything else out there that might be worth looking at (such as what Rammedstein posted, I'm on my way to check one out now) but yeah, either the MSI Platinum or the gigabyte 650i is probably what I'm gonna get.
