Hey guys please suggest me a good Processorprice below rs10000.And I am living in India ,So try to give me amazon links.


My specs :-

Motherboard:-EG31M V1.1
Ram:- 3gb
Processor:-Intel Pentium Dual Core E5400 2.7GHz
GPU:-I am going to buy gt 730 or gt 1030
I am building this system For Gaming,Like GTA-V
Will Corsair Vs400 400watt be good.
Also Will Intel i3 be good.

The best chips for your motherboard are:

Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650
Intel Core 2 Extreme Q9300
Any Core 2 quad CPU with a number Q8400 or higher. Even a q6600 would be 30% faster. Your 400W will work fine with it unless you have a lot of hard drives or other devices. The new CPU is about 50 watts more but the board should support it.

Not sure where you are buying or their prices but these are roughly the Intel chips you want to look for.

Like some one already said, you'd have to huntdown a good second hand processor supplier - the best one you could pick up for this board (LGA 775) would be Intel Pentium 4 Extreme Edition.

Other than the quad core core 2's q9550, 9450, 9650 but check what your mobo can take on its website.

Hi there,

For a cheap gaming build I would recommend going for an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or 1300 and then getting an AM4 Socket Motherboard. These chips are very cheap and come with coolers and are overclockable (depending on your Motherboard)
