Hello everybody: actually I am planning to build a new pc , (on a budget)

So I am confused between
Cpu:i5-6600k
Gpu:gtx 1060 6gb
Mobo: z170 pro gaming

Or

Gpu: gtx 1070 8gb
Mobo: msi h110m grenade

Plz help, according to me I think the better Gpu is the one I should get but then I get worried about a low end Mobo and future sufficient stuff Plz help and yes those very extra features are not needed too much as i am going to do just editing, gaming, school work,Web browsing, movies and vr stuff
Thank You

If budget is tight and you are doing editing then you need to be looking at ryzen 5 1600 or ryzen 7 1700.
i5 will be insufficient for editing as you need more cores/threads. Ryzen can deliver on that for less than an i7.
With Ryzen you loose a little bit of per cpu core speed but gain more cores. In a nutshell 90x12 is better than 100x4 (90 and 100 being ryzen single core performance, and the 12 and 4 being the number of threads).

At 1440p you need a GTX 1070.

You say budget is tight
You are getting a k series overclockable CPU, thus you need a motherboard that can overclock which is only the Z170 and Z270 boards.

If you dont wish to overclock then get a normal (no k) series and I would at least get a b150 or b250 board (b250 if cpu is kabylake).

As far as GPU that depends on your display. 1060 will max any game at 1080p@60hz. If you want 1440p OR frame-rate then you need a 1070. If you want both or 4k then you need a 1080.
