A.I. Disabled

When i load the game after a first time playing i get this message.
I can run around and have the Use button worked but Alex and all others
standing still and doing noting.

How can i fix this??

have you set-up an Autoexec file in the following folder?

C:\Program Files\Valve\SteamApps<username>\Half Life 2\hl2\cfg

if so, check to see if there is a command in it called "ai_disable"
if there is, then delete it (the line not the document)

if not, then during gameplay next time it happens, open the developers
consoel and type "ai_enable" without quotation marks.

If this solves the problem, then create an autoexec.txt file in the above
mentioned folder and type "ai_enable" into it.

Hmm I don't know - a really tough one
Are you running with Steam?
Could be a problem related to this

Why are you helping him? This ONLY occurs with the pirated version...

Oh well..theres no such command as ai_enable anyway, its ai_disable 0

<nitpick>

'ai_disable' is a toggle command. That is, when you type the command it
turns off the AI. Type it again and the AI is enabled. You don't need a
parameter (eg. 0) at the end like most other commands.

I believe you want the 0 if you put in in a .cfg file though. Not positive
though....
