On boot up MSN Messenger pops up.
I don't use MSN as an ISP or a start page.
Any suggestions would be appreciated on how to get rid of this nuisance.
Thanks,
Pappy

Start>Run>type MSCONFIG>OK
Go to the Startup tab and disable/uncheck msmsgs
Click Apply>Close>Reboot

While Messenger is running check options or preferences and uncheck the box
that tells it to start when Windows starts.

On the MSN Messenger click 'Tools', 'Options' and under the 'General'
Tab and untick 'Automatically Run Messenger when I Log into Windows' &
'Allow automatic sign in when connected to the internet'

MSN messenger has nothing to do with MSNstart page. Its a stand alone
