I recently had this problem where my pc used to blue screen a bunch with random errors (most i don’t remember) but eventually it always just turned into WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR at one point it was so bad that i had errors that went like this:
“Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer.

Choose your language settings, and then click "Next."

Click "Repair your computer."

If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

Status: 0xc000000f

Info: A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed.”

I also had the exact same thing a few minutes later but with different info and a different error code:
“Status: Oxc000014c

Info: An unexpected error has occurred.”

Sometimes it would try boot into recovery mode but all it said was this:
“Your PC/Device needs to be repaired

The operating system couldn't be loaded because the system registry file is missing or contains errors.

File: \WINDOWS|system32\config\system

Error code: Oxc0000225”

There was also another one where it also tried going into recovery mode but it said this instead:
“Your PC/Device needs to be repaired

Error code: Oxc000000d.”

Recently I completely wiped my pc and started over and i haven’t been getting any issues until a few days ago with my computer completely freezing and locking up for 5 seconds to 1 minute and now im getting the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR again but this time it also makes it so my ssd stops working and wont boot for the past like 10 minutes every time I’ve tried to boot it loads up but just into a light blue screen (just the colour i don’t mean the windows bsod) with no text and it stays there for 5-10 minutes before powering off or it wont boot at all and says:
“Reboot and Select proper Boot device

or Insert Boot Media In selected Boot device and press a key”
I’m really at a loss now so I’m looking anywhere for help I can’t access any mini dump files or anything as i cant even get into a recovery screen as if my ssd is completely dead all i can list are my specs:
MSI Z390-A PRO (MS-7B98).
I5-9600KF (not overclocked).
Nvidia GTX 1070 (not overclocked).
CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 Desktop memory (used to be 4x8gb but 2 of them died).
an old ADATA 256gb m.2 ssd (not sure which one).
a WDBlue 1tb hdd and a 1tb seagate hdd.
I really don’t know what else to do if anyone could tell me anything to troubleshoot i would really appreciate it.

I rather think your boot drive has failed - that's most likely the Adata 256GB SSD? The reason I say this, apart form the type of errors you're seeing, are the exception codes;
  • 0xC000000F is NO_SUCH_FILE, it means a requested file could not be found
  • 0xC000014C is REGISTRY_CORRUPT, it means that the file containing one of the registry hives could not be read properly
  • 0xC0000225 is NOT_FOUND, it means that the object (probably a device) could not be found in the system
  • 0xC000000D is INVALID_PARAMETER, it means that an invalid parameter was passed to a function
All of these exceptions are pointing at your boot drive having failed. When SSDs fails they usually fail permanently. You could try formatting it from the Windows installation media and doing a clean reinstall, but I wouldn't trust that drive for long.

corsair: All DRAM memory modules have a limited lifetime warranty
if the modules have actually failed RMA to whole kit.
