Though I will always like the old logo for what it was, the new ones give the site a less "some guy's blog" feel and more a the respected site it has become. I approve.

NVM that Android is dominating the world as far as mobile OSs go; Tom's buried it at the end of MORE tags.

"Objective" as usual, eh, Tom's?
Any chance you might fix that in the near future?

What logo? Looked like HTML error. Sorry' but nobody refers to this site as TH... Your not KFC or FEDEX. Making the site look like windows8... The worst release of windows since 2.x doesn't seem like a good idea. Bland and change for the sake of change.

How about this for REAL improvements :
A) compatible with opera proper.
b) compatible with mobile phones better in full site mode. Chrome sucks for text entry on phones... And your site won't accept opera mini entry.
C) STOP forcing the site into mobile mode... Our smart phones don't need stupid 8 year old tech limited browsing... It's a pain in thebutt.

D) auto remove spam when there's x amount of people hitting the ALERT button. Like 10 or so.

irony: Jn77 sez, "I would hope since 1996 they fix the bots that post ad's in the comments section, learn to spell correctly, and stop all the ad's..... "

And there was one more instance of [ad's]. Let me put this nicely and politely:

YOU DO NOT FORM PLURALS BY ADDING AN APOSTROPHE. EVER. Possessives, yes.

1 click to full size image would be nice
another thing that would be nice is if we can have user article selection, here ill example
some people like reading about apple this or apple that, while others would rather those articles about apple rumors or apple pattent this or oh god a new iphone wouldn't be in list... as it stands i only click on every article to change them purple so i know whats new and whats not by seeing color, not by reading the title. so a way for the user to say, nope i never want to see this kind of article again would be nice.

it would be nice if there was a way to just not see those articles anymore, that may be a pipe dream, but though i should voice an opinion.

Looking at the thumbnail, I think the word Hardware dominates the name Tom's which is in black. Simply, on a thumbnail, it's like just the word Hardware.

I removed your comment, abbadon_34, for the offensive line it contained regarding the physically challenged. Dissent and constructive criticism is always welcome in the Tom's Community - heck, it's how we rebuilt the front page last year based on user input and feedback. If you want to give us your feedback on something we're doing (HINT: NEW FORUM PLATFORM OPEN BETA TEST UNDERWAY, HINT HINT), then we hope to hear from you.

But let's not confuse censorship with moderation, and let's keep the discourse civil. :)

Stop using that crap slideshow. Imperceptible branding changes are pointless. No one gives a ***. Stop using those retarded ajax type menus that reset every time the back button is hit. If you want to impress tech readers then make your site's navigation beastly logical and FAST - fast as heck!

The one good thing you did is NOT use twitter and facebook plugins for the comments. Oh man, do I wish those comment plugins would die.

Just do not go Gmail way when they forced us not to use classical view and white background which was plain simple and super fast to navigate.

Cool, now fix the $@&# problem with profile sync with Tom's sister sites. I just tried to comment on Tomsguide. I'm logged in here, but apparently I'm not logged in to Tomsguide.

Excuse me, what? If I'm logged in here, I should be automatically logged in there too.

One more thing. I was logged into Tomsguide. I never logged out. Why did the cookie expire? I didn't ask the cookie to expire. I didn't clear my cookies. If I log into a website I expect to remain logged in until I log out. Be that 30 seconds or 6 years.

Sometimes we make updates to the forum software, and this means that your cookie might well expire. We apologize for the deep inconvenience of requiring users to log in from time to time. We're hoping our efforts in the near future to identify you based on your mouse movements and browser history as cross-referenced with your biometric, demographic and consumer database profiles to authenticate your identity will bear fruit.

As an aside, your vehicle needs an oil change and it's time to renew your subscription to Popular Mechanics. Oh, and please wish your cousin in Wichita a Happy Birthday from us! ;)
