Why in the world would you expect anyone to read and digest the actual article, when they can just take the title and tagline and use it as an excuse to complain because their anger is THE MOST IMPORTANT anger.

Surprise, nobody likes GPU prices right now, nor do we like they are impossible to get. This is not news. But with bundles out there like this at least people have a CHANCE of building a gaming PC at a reasonable price.

The whole point of building your own PC is getting to select exactly what you want. Not having to settle for something, because it was part of a bundle.

If you are going to settle might as well go order something from Dell and save your money, get a warranty and support with your PC. It's sad that I can say that, and I've never bought a prebuilt.

Just because you get two parts bundled together, like a CPU and GPU, doesn't mean you can't customize your PC. That's just two parts, you can still pick everything else. The PSU is one key area to think about here, because prebuilt systems often use inexpensive PSUs that aren't very safe or secure. If you buy a prebuilt system, you have limited if any say in what goes in your PC. That's fine for people that want to go that far, but acting like you get one part just because it was bundled with a different part and now you can't customize your PC is a little ridiculous.
