Hey everyone
As the title says I have a doubt about the frequency of the 1070 ti, it is the gigabyte model, I overclocked the aorus engine and it tells me that the maximum frequency is 1708 mhz, but when benchmarking the msi afterburner It marks me that it reaches 1873mhz and heaven that it reaches 1936mhz.

Is this okay? Previously I had an rx 580 and it was not like that.

Sorry for the bad english :d

Solution
Nvidia's Gpu Boost algorithm automatically pursues higher boost clocks based on the card's parameters - power, thermal, and voltage.
The advertised boost clocks are basically useless, because Gpu Boost will easily exceed that value.
I guess it's more of a worst case scenario clock?

Yeah, those old Polaris cards didn't have a feature like that. The Navi cards do though.
