A problem With a card

So I just bought a Radeon rx 550
And I uninstall all the old Nvidia drivers and I put in the new card and I turn on the computer.... Monitor does not show anything it stays idle and no response the fans on card work. Is this a problem with the monitor, the converter/adapter or something else

Check that the case controls, RAM, Graphics Card, and fans are properly plugged in..

Ok ill check but I have one more thing to add.. Does a monitor have to be a specific one like a newer one? I hav a lg flatron w1934s it too old for this card?
