A programming/Development/Gaming computer for 40K

Hoping whether, anyone can help me out here.
I intend to assemble the following machine in Kolkata for the purpose of Programming/Development/Gpaphics & Video Editing using AutoCAD/3DS Max/Fluent/BeamProp/MatLab and many more.
Please give your suggestions, my Budget is around 40.5K+4%

Processor - AMD Phenom II X6 1090T - Rs. 9300
Motherboard - MSI 990FXA-GD65 - Rs. 9100
RAM - Corsair XMS3 4GB 1600MHz (2*4GB) - Rs.1600
HDD - Seagate 500GB - Rs. 1900
KBD+Mouse - Rs. 700
ODD - Samsung Combo - Rs. 850
Graphics Card - Sapphire HD 6790 1GBDDR5 -Rs.7900
Corsair SMPS CX600W - Rs. 3550
UPS Numeric 600VA - Rs. 1500
Monitor - 16" AOC - Rs. 3600
Cooler Master Elite 310 - Rs. 1450

Is this a good design? I designed it keeping in mind future upgrades and software requirements. Future upgrades include another block of 4GB 1600MHz RAM, AMD Bulldozer core FX processors using the AM3+ socket, when they come out and have proven their worth, a second Sapphire HD 6850 card that I can crossfire with this one.

Plz suggest any modifications that you may have....

That build looks pretty good. I can't help you much with pricing, but....

MB - The MSI is fine, however the ASRock 970 EXTREME4 is a great board for its price. You may look and see if this board is an option for you.

CPU Cooler - If you plan to overclock, pick up a Cooler Master Hyper 212+.

HDD - The Samsung F3 1TB drive is a fast and reliable drive. Check / compare prices.

GPU - The HD 6790 and HD 6850 would both be good cards. Not sure which one you plan to crossfire with though, but compare prices with the HD 6870 as it is usually a great value purchase.

PSU - If you are planning on crossfire, up the power supply to a 750w for plenty of overhead. Stick with Corsair, Antec, XFX or Seasonic.

From which store are you planning to buy the computer? I bought one from Technocrat in Chadni a month ago.

I'd suggest the following :

RAM : Corsair 2x4GB DDR3 1333 - 1650x2 = 3300rs

4GB isn't enough these days.

18.5" Samsung Monitor : 5300rs

If I were you I'd also go with an i5 2500K and a cheaper MoBo. The i5 beats the hex-core phenom in EVERY task.

The ASRock 970 Extreme 4 is not available where I live, and besides it is over my budget.
CPU cooler is definitely on the cards but as an upgrade. I do not plan to overclock now. (Just hope to God that the AMD stock cooler is capable till then).
I'll take your advice and put the 1TB on my upgrade list. I hope to make this rig last for the next 3-4 years, as I doubt there would be any more serious breakthrough in Si technology to break the golden 5GHz barrier without OCing
I checked the AMD website. Both the g850 and the 6790 are capable of being crossfired with the crossfire bridge. 6870 aint available where I live.
I'll take your advice on the PSU

Can you suggest an Intel Processor and a motherboard that supports SLI and crossfire and can fit my budget. I chose AMD because, Intel didnt fit my budget. I asked the guy from MD computers in Chadni.

P.S. could you suggest me the price of the parts that I have quoted in my original post and for an AMD eqvt from Chadni.

MoBo : ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0
3 PCIe 2.0 x16 slots. SLI at x8/x8. $150 - Shouldn't cost more than 7500rs.
There is a cheaper version but that only supports SLI at x16/x4.

Processor : i5 2500K 3.3Ghz Quad Core - approx 11000rs

Heatsink : CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ - 1400rs

This is a more powerful build than the AMD one and that processor can be overclocked up to 4.5 - 5Ghz with that HSF.

I've just found an awesome board that costs 6500rs.

ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX

Better than the P67 one. Has one PCIe 3.0 slot. You can upgrade to an Ivy Bridge (3rd Gen. Core CPUs) later if you wish.

CM Elite is fine as a Case.

PSU : 750W Corsair or Antec needed for SLI. I dont know the price. Most probably near 5K.

RAM : Already mentioned in my last post.

Hard Disk : Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB - 2600rs

Monitor : Already mentioned.

GPU : EVGA GTX 560Ti or XFX Radeon HD 6950 - both around 10-11K.
