[SOLVED] A question about confusing USB headers

I'm planning on finally ordering the rest of my parts tomorrow but I have one final question. Does the motherboard ports (like the USB ports, display ports, audio ports) depend on any headers being connected? Or are they all independent? I'm asking because I realised my case has USB 3.0 cables and they may not fit on my motherboard's USB 3.1 Gen2 header.

Does that mean that I'll have no USB ports available? Or will the motherboard ports at the back still work while the ports at the front of the case don't work?

Thank you!

Solution
You have 2 gen 2 usb 3 ports on the back and 2 usb gen 1 ports on the back panel.

You also have headers for 2 x front usb gen 1 ports and 2 x usb 2 ports.

The rear ports work independently.

The front case ports will connect to the board headers.

You have no issues at all.
