A question about installing windows.

I have a windows 8 product key that i got from microsoft. But they didn't send me a disc(I got through expert zone) how do I install this onto a new build that I'm building. Please include detailed instructions. Everything I see online links me to this site that says "upgrade to windows 8/8.1 with product key but i'm not upgrading.

you need to get a windows installation file on either a usb flash drive or a disc, so you will want to find another computer and download that onto a USB or something then run it off that and put your product key in when it asks for it

So I would go to the upgrade site and run that program? correct? I dont want to use up my key installing windows 8.1 on my already 8.1 computer.

ummm you use a computer to get the installation files then install it on your new computer or if you used a disk for your other computer you can just use that disk and put in your new key

i understand that but what would be the procedure to install it to a disc to run it on the blank computer? go to the upgrade site run the program? will it prompt me to burn to a dvd or try to install it on my computer that im using currently
