[SOLVED] "A TCG Command has returned an error" turns off my monitors every few days

For the past few weeks, I have received this error usually when playing games. The game will freeze up for a few seconds, then both of my monitors will cut out while I can hear the game going in the background. At that point I'm forced to reboot, and the following error shows up in Event Viewer:

A TCG Command has returned an error.

Status: 0x12

My boot drive is a Crucial ct275mx300ssd1. I have updated the firmware, checked encryption settings, etc., but still haven't found anything that has worked.

that is likely a driver error. Not drive.
