Is there anyway to obtain some type of history or log of devices that have been disconnected from pc? I keep hearing the "disconnect sound" at random times. I could be playing a game, just browsing the internet or not even touching the computer and it plays this sound. If there isn't a way, is it possible maybe to force log the information?

Solution
Right click the start menu button and choose (Event Viewer)

In Event viewer double click (Windows logs) then check (Application) and (system).

Maybe you will find a log entry about what is happening

I'm sorry but I'm unsure how this relevant.

Thank you!! In the system log there's a ton of warning for hcmon having detected unrecognized USB driver. A quick Google searched showed this to a component of VMware, which I do have installed. Sadly there's no update for VMware that I missed so this might warrant an uninstall. I don't use it much so it's okay.

I did clear the log and I'll keep an eye on it to see if anything else pops ups.

I think you need to reread my question. I never mentioned anything about any internet issue. I have a hardware/driver issue that is special to my system. If it was an internet issue, it'd be a problem with my NIC adapter which it is not since I never disconnect from internet. Also if I used my own connection or someone else's, the problem wouldn't be different.
