Question A way to move the mouse pointer with the arrow keys?

I've been using my Win10 Acer Travelmate B311 lately to play games when I'm out of the house and it's impractical to use a mouse and awkward to use the touchpad. I've been searching different phrases and keywords for finding free software that allows me to control the mouse using the arrow keys, as my laptop does not have a numpad (And thus I cannot use the built-in mouse keys option). But no matter where I look, it feels like literally no one has tried or wanted to do this in the history of the internet as all search results lead to either MS Paint or needing a numpad.

one way I found is use the On Screen keyboard. that won't help in games though. Everything assumes you have a numbpad.

Mouse although impractical might be only real choice.
Buy a wireless keyboard that lets you map mouse commands to arrows..

Look into windows accessibility options.
But, perhaps the simplest is to use a usb connected numeric pad.

There is a solution for this, Autohotkey.

The only thin you must do is to read up on the documentation and then ceate a script that does this for you.

the first computer program I remember using used to move a triangle around on screen. That was in 1982... it wasn't a cursor but this reminded me of it

Most laptop keyboards do support numpad, using special <Fn>-<key> combination to turn eg UIOP, JKL:, M<>? keys into numeric.
