So i'm looking to build a cheap gaming rig which will have upgradability.
I've picked out these 2 CPUs for a few reasons.

1. I don't need to play AAA titles, I have a console for that. I'd be looking at stuff like Skyrim,. Far Cry 3, Fallout, Dead Island, Borderlands.
2.These are Quad core solutions, for the same price i'd be looking at a dual core with a discrete GPU.
3. They leave the PCIE slot open to an upgrade later down the line, whether this be a high end GPU or even a lower end one (R7 250) for Dual Graphics.

I understand the RAM situation for APU's (High speed + DUal Channel for better iGPU performance).

The difference in price brand new between these 2 chips is: £10.

Now it doesn't sound like a lot, but when you're building a rig as cheap as mine (£200ish) £10 anywhere counts for a lot.

As seen in this review @ 1080P the difference in performance for gaming is minimal, however at 720P the difference starts to become bigger and more noticeable.

WHich would you guys recommend?

When the A10-7850k came out, it came with a Battlefield 4 voucher. So im assuming, I have not worked with the 7850k, that it is capable of playing that at low-medium. Go with the 7850k. The price difference is so small, worth it for the little extra horsepower.
Systems using on-board video cards in the cpu are a joke.....really. Even the best that are coming out (by intel) are about the same speed as a very LOW-END ATI 250 video card. Console games are very low-end computers. they can't to AAA. That's why some games only come out for pc, not consoles. You would be surprised by the major difference between them. Toms' did one showing GTA5. the pc was far superior.
For a gaming system, I would heavily recommend a Intel i5 cpu, with the best video card you can afford. (at least a ATI 260x or better, that includes the geforce cards as well).

The iGPU in the A10 7850K is equivalent to a n R7 250, not a low end ATI 250.

I know the capabilities of consoles nd how powerful their GPU's are.

I also said my budget for this gaming system is just £200ish.

I also said I wouldn';t playing AAA titles.

Did you read my post? or did you see iGPU then decide to spew a load of crap?

I'd like to kindly ask you not to post on one of my topics again, since what you said was completely irrelevant of my question. At least when others suggest alternatives they match the situation and actually know what they're talking about.
