Are there any known issues with this board with relation to graphics
corruption?

Two separate graphics cards have a similar intermittent problem. All
chipset drivers installed. Running win XP SP2.

Only problem I ever encountered with that board was that in dxdiag it said
that direct3d accleleration was not available and agp textuere acceleration
was not available. Used Riva Tuner to enable it. Can't remeber exactly how
though. Some setting called Enable Ali AGP and had to change the value from
0 to 1. As for the other guys reply, do not use the Via 4 in 1 drivers as
you have an Ali chipset.

Not that I know of; I've had two cards (GeForce 2 Ti, then Radeon 9800 Pro),
which worked fine (corruption is subjective, but I presume you're getting
major
problems).

Have you installed the latest BIOS and Via 4 in 1 drivers? Could the case
be overheating? Have you tried the BIOS AGP settings?

Spotted that one <g>.

I have bought a new mb on the basis that two cards cannot go screwy.

First one, GeForce 3 had continual problems...irritating but not
major. The latest ATi 9800 Pro has sporadic *major* corruption.

Easier to replace the mb than mess about with drivers etc installing
and uninstalling cards, especially as I have a faster CPU here that is
not supported on the A7A266.
