A7N8X Deluxe R2.0 1008 Modification

Hi,

Been neglecting my motherboard recently.

I've just updated the BIOS to 1008, but I modified the 1008 to include the
latest SATA BIOS 4.2.50 from SiImage and the latest awdflash 8.24B from Asus
website.

I crossed my fingers and flashed it - I'm still here to tell the tale, so it
should be good.

If anybody wants it, it's on the website at the link in my sig. Just don't
blame me if you flash it and it eats your computer. (by all means let me
know, if you can!)

Beware that it is only for the Rev 2.0 A7N8X Deluxe. I have instructions in
the file and on the site if you want to create your own for a different
board.

Haven't seen any other BIOS mods that do this, thought I'd give it a go.

Thanks, I will try it. I am using SATA although with an SATA-EIDE adapter
and 1008 is working fine.

It should do...

This is just for the people that absolutely must have the latest version
regardless of risk - like me! 🙂

How can you tell if it is Rev 2.0?
The one i havbe has the wi-fi slot and card, is that it?

If it has a wifi slot, then it's probably an A7N8X-E deluxe, which
uses a different BIOS, so don't try it!
