A7N8X deluxe mobo, bios 1007, Win Xp
TrueImage 7.
When I try to restore an image. my computer reboots as it should and then a
message says "Acronis TI loading please wait" then nothing, even after 15
minutes. Could this be related to the mobo. I would be grateful for any
advice.

Possible, but unlikely. Far more likely is that the image is hosed.

Easy enough to test tho'... Boot from a plain-vanilla DOS floppy, Knoppix CD,
or whatever -- anything *except* the TrueImage stuff. If the system runs
normally, it's not the mobo.
