I can't seem to get the rear speakers to work, front speakers work like a
champ. I installed the NVidia 3.13 drivers and the RealTek audio driver
from the Asus web site. I checked the tick box in Windows sound properties
that says 'Rear connected to Mic'. I am using Windows XP latest.

I can't find anything in the manual that says 6ch audio is supported at the
analog ports provided, do you have to use SPDIF??

Thanks!!

You should be able to configure it for 4 (analog) speakers using the Realtek control panel. You may also need to set
Windows Advanced speaker settings to quad or something (I forget, been using a audigy2 for awhile now).

Latest ALC650 drivers...
