A7V and Fast Writes

Is anybody out there able to enable this feature and not have Q3 engine based games lock up?

A7V rev. 1.04, Duron700, Visiontek GF2MX, 256MB PC100, WinME, SBlive

I don't play Quake but I have had AGP Fast Write enabled with no problems since I upgraded the motherboard BIOS to 1.005. But then I have an Elsa Geforce2 GTS card.
