Be very careful when flashing, as some of the BIOS had issues
with boot block flashing and even problems with inability to
properly program EEPROMs etc. Read all the warnings and make
sure you are using the correct flashing program and DOS boot
disk. Flashing a BIOS is always risky, but is riskier with some
of the boards in the A7V family, if you don't do it right.
A BIOS Savior costs about $25 (ioss.com.tw) and can save you
the trouble of having to visit badflash.com, to rescue a dead
BIOS. It converts a single flash board to a dual flash board.
