Hi, I am very literate with computers and have been tinkering and building for over 10 years. But there is always something that baffles all us enthusiasts. I have the A7V133 motherboard with 1.4mgz Athlon.....super board. Operating system is XP. I was running with 2 PC133 SDram 168pin 128 meg and purchased 2 168pin 512 sdram modules. I put the 512s.....one in each slot and one of the 168 sdram in the third. Total= 1152meg. All are non bufferd sdram pc133, 3.3 volt. But, I might ad....they were the generic brand....not Kingston, etc. Hey...I am a frugile guy. Well....the pc would run then ERRORS....THEN shut down. Or it might be very stable then when you do a lot of processing, the memory did some real funky things....the SEND ERROR REPORT came up. I knew it was a memory problem. I took the 128meg module out......and now it runs PERFECCTTTTT. Any ideas about this problem? Thanks
Hank

you can not run both types of mem only one or the other. It is like when you had 72 pin simms and sdram slots it will no0t work
