I was planning to upgrade to AMD A8-7600. As per my knowledge there are 3 AMD chipset supporting the socket type for this processor (FM2+).
1) A58 being the starter with no USB 3.0 header.
2) A88 being having lot of expansion slots that I dont need.
3) A78 being the mid range suited best for my need.
But all the local vendors (Pune, India) are telling me that either its A58 chipset or A88. And A78 is not compatible. I cannot find any A78 (supporting FM2+) in any of the Indian online site also. Are A78 (A8-7600) motherboard not released in India. Or Am I missing something?

Well that's quite a bummer, I did my best, hardware is more expensive over there. But I did find you a decent motherboard that is a little much for your build but available. It's the same thing pretty much, but the only thing besides this are those cheap Biostar and ECS motherboards. I checked all of the indian markets I could find, unless you want to try to wait and get lucky to find a cheaper MSIA-78m version which I do not like. I would just go with this one. Total:Rs.4830
US : $76.119
This is my motherboard currently, cheap, reliable, and upgradeable to 760k or 860k later with a GPU. -------------> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128689&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Thanks. I also feel this is good MoBo.
But even though its shown on Gigabyte India site, its not available on any of the online India retailer sites. (I have updated my question to reflect the issue of availability in India)
Newegg delivers in India but the shipping cost is almost the cost of the motherboard itself. 🙁

Wow...in all my search 'IT depot' doesn't even show up. This is definitely the cheapest 88X Mobo I have seen. As such the buying factor is not the budget but rather buying something I am not going to need. Its almost like buying a high power bike and than driving at 20 KM/H.
But thanks for the help and also for pointer to hardware site I was not aware of. With no 78X available in India this is the next best solution.
