I was wondering if there are any benchmarking programs out there that I could use to test the differences on my computer between High Res with no AA & AF and lower res's with AA & AF turned on. If I subscribe to 3DMark will it allow me to do that? Are there others that are better/free? I would just like a general idea, it's not really for professional use.

Thanks!

Download FRAPS.EXE and you can benchmark any program. Use the one second interval because continuous impacts performance by a couple of frames per sec. Use Display manager to turn AA or AF on and off.

Personally I prefer higher res to low res an AA, but I have an old Radeon 8500. 1280x1024 no AA (and even 1600x1200) has better performance than 800x600 with AA on my rig.

I always leave AF enabled (8X). There's not much of a perfomance impact with Radeon cards. (Don't know about nVidia cards).
