AB9 USB problem

Have just done a clean install of Windows Xp SP2 and everything was fine until i loaded the intel chipset drivers then usb devices stopped working.Have no idea what the problem is.Can anyone help please :?

First check the BIOS to make sure the USB controller is on. If so, can Windows even see the USB controller in Device manager?

thanks will look into it.at present havn't loaded chipset drivers and everthing is working fine

Have checked usb is on in Bios.Without the chipset drivers installed usb controller is showing no problems in Device Manager
