Well, I got an abit an7 from newegg.com, unpacked it and installed it,
was freaking awesome, then i started having problems with stability.
Randomly i would get blue screens referencing 0x0000000A and then
different parameters, well, as it turns out, by changing the multiplier
from 11.5 to anything else, i no longer had that problem. I can now at
least do basic computer things just fine such as listening to music,
posting to newsgroups, and internet jibberish.
Now any time I try to play a game, especially noticable in Far Cry and
Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, I get a blank blue screen of death every
time shortly after opening them. . It is completely blank, with no
errors listed.
Now I used to have an MSI K7N2G, but I heard some awesome stuff about
Abit, so I decided to get the AN7. The specs of my computer are:

Abit AN7 (running Nvidia's NForce 2 drivers off the website instead of
the drivers that came on CD)
Athlon XP 2600+ (Overclocked from 11.5 multiplier to 12.0 multiplier)
512 MB of PC3200, split up into two 256 MB sticks so I can get Dual
Channel DDR, it's running at ddr333 speeds with timings of 7-3-3-2
ATi Radeon 9600, running 4.4 catalysts
120 GB Seagate IDE drive
I use the Nvidia Soundstorm as it was better than my SB Audigy LS
Antec TruePower 550 watt

I've tried reinstalling windows, doing 4 repair installations,
reinstalling all my drivers, diabling options such as shadowing and
caching in the bios, i even disabled agp fast writes, i've disabled all
unnecessary onboard options and still, no matter what, when I try to
play a game i get a blank Blue Screen of Death.

Maybe this will help as a starting point, sounds like it could be anything.
Try the simple things like memory swapping and another VGA card for
starters.

would setting the memory timing to 7-3-3-2.5 change anything?
