ABIT NF7-S and firewire quality

How is the onboard firewire on this board... I have a 2-year-old firewire pci card (KDS, I think, that came in a PyroPlatinium Package), and if that card is better, I will disable the onboard one and plug this pci card in...

As far as I know it's average quality, which means it's good.
