I am looking into buying a mobo for my celeron that currantly has no home it is a 633 and I want to get it to a ghz. Looking into my options I came across an Abit SA6R this board is expencive and I was wondering if it is worth shelling out the cash.
another one I came across is a ECS P6VAP from what I gathered this uses a via chipset and I have not had good luck with them in the past. any info/iput is helpfull.

People have been having their best luck with the Asus CUSL2-C. It has the most overclocking options and highest stability. And it is also expensive.

does it support RAID? that was the double reason for spending upwards of $200.

Nyet! But PCI Raid cards only cost $40, a reasonable amount to insure the best system performance.
