About a SATA SSD and a PCIE SSD

hi,
I have a 850 pro 256 G with windows 10. Now I have another intel 750 1.2TB. If I run the software or games from intel 750 which is not the system disk, would it decrease the efficiency comparing to installing system in intel 750?

no i dont think it will, most of the loading time seems to be spent talking to the gaming servers online

How about the software? Do they relay on the operating system? For example, I'd like to install vmware in intel 750.
