since the processor is AMD anthlon 64. does it require just anymotherboards the ones at leat compatible? or do i get just any mother board as long as the processors fit? please elp me.

you need an motherboard meant forAMD CPU's, no intel motherboards will work or even fit an AMD CPU

That system has a socket 462 (socket A) motherboard and processor. Any replacement motherboard must match that socket type.
