Question About Mixing different brands of ram.

Hello, i currently have 2400mhz 8GB Kingston and i cannot find the exact same model anywhere in my country. Would it be okay if i used a different brand with the same speed and memory? Or should i just get one of those newer kingston rams that are 2666mhz hyperx CL16 and just live with the downclock?

No one can answer that. It may work, or it might not. Or it will work but you will have system stability issues. Mixing even the exact same make and model of RAM doesn't guarantee compatibility.

RAM is sold in "kits" of match stick that are tested at the factory.
