about operating system computer

I've been looking for this question from google to youtube but not found, My question is, if someone build a complete computer but without operating system from HDD or SSD then what will happen?

The OS is the interface between a person and computer. No OS and you can't do any real work with a computer. On a PC, if you don't install windows or linux, the computer will boot up to the Bios, put you can't do anything else.

Then you'll just have a box of expensive parts sitting on your desk.
You can turn it on and maybe see some pretty lights, but that's about it.

Ok guys thank you for help, actually i just think what happens if my SSD is damaged because he holds the windows 10.
