About the Logitech G930 Headset?

Not sure if im in the right place but i have been using a G930 head set for some time now and haven't had a problem, then i downloaded the software to go with it because some one told me the surround sound wouldn't work without it. Ever since my headset has been randomly disconnecting/turning off every time it does i need to re turn it on. Any suggestions?

I know exactly what your problem is... I have the same headset. Logitech put out a bad driver that shuts the headset off after like 5-10... All you have to do is uninstall your current driver and get a different version.

On my system I currently use: LGS 8.58.183 ....

UPDATE: Which version of the software are you currently using?

On an unrelated note, you should also set up the EQ because by default you get really bad bass distortions. Let me know if you want me to send you a screenshot of my EQ settings... it seems to give the best sound for this headset without any distortion at all.

There is a fix for this issue. First exit the logitech gaming software be sure to close it out from the icon tray.
1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Logitech Gaming Software\Resources\G930\Manifest
2. Copy Device_Manifest onto your desktop. Rename the original Device_Manifest to Device_Manifest.bak
3. Open the Device_Manifest on your desktop with notepad.
4. Search (Ctrl+f) battery turnoffinterval then change the value from 900 to 0 then save.
5. copy the file from the desktop to the original location and restart your PC.
6. Enjoy

Ok, yes can i get a screen shot of your EQ settings. Are you talking about the driver for the headset or the software im running LGS_8.76.155....... Thats the software not the driver for my device.

UPDATE: plus its more like 15-20 min for me when it shuts off.

UPDATE: Ok i got the version you are running and everything is working great, just 2 more things can i have a screen shot of your EQ settings and also when i use surround sound and im in skype people they sound weird as if there almost echoing but not do you know a fix?
