Am I able to use it also for Whole System Build ?

hope this find you well and thanks

Are you referring to the wire/cables that came with your PSU or are you looking at a custom sleeved cable kit/harness? Please elaborate.

the PSU is SliverStone STT-ST1000PTS
How old is the PSU? Wattage wise, you're going to be fine.

thank you for your reply, and yes its custom sleeved ones to be used with the psu i mentioned,

18 gauge is accepted more or less standard, why not go up to 16 gauge? People were doing 16 instead of 18 for pcie back before these newer comparatively power hungry cards.
Plus it leaves you a little a little headroom if one wire isn't perfect. Don't be the first person to start firegate in AMD.

yeah true but felt as from 18awg safety concern side since the gpu will use 420w, i already order it can't return it maybe in the future get the 16awg

and sorry guys if i let you all feel like this a big deal i just don't do well with stress, i have MDD at disability level and have no one to speak to

thank

Needless to say, though we've all done it, it wouldn't have been better to ask before buying but it's what it is.

As long as it's true 18g wire and not crap disguised in a thick rubber jacket, 18 will be perfectly fine, so don't stress that.

Don't know where you live but see if your hardware store sells 18 gauge and buy a foot or meter, however it's sold. In the US it ends up being like $0.10 cents.
Compare the actual wire density inside between the two. If both are the same you're all good.

Or if you have a caliper, the diameter of 18GA wire is 1.024 mm.

Was going to suggest that but figured if OP was worried in the first place they didn't have one.

That said above is useful info. Just to add on to. That if anyone ever reads this, remember that the thickness listed is being tested on stranded wire. If you have a caliper, don't crush it. Twist the strands tightly and then measure without tightening the caliper down, just until it barely smushes.
