I think this is probably a good place to ask questions of this type. On the Wikipedia page dedicated to Xeon processors ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Xeon_microprocessors ) I found out certain details in connection with the future generation of processors Xeon e7 v4 Broadwell ex. However, we're talking about some news which were never announced. I wanted to help me in connection with a clarification, whether is it the false data, or it is a great news which were meanwhile announced?

Solution
There are not many motherboards for E7-8xxx CPUs. They are generally used only in very expensive servers. Even the server manufacturers are backing away from the E7-8xxx CPUs in favor E5-4xxx CPUs.

Unless you have some NDA info from your favorite server vendor, then those CPUs are not very useful to most.

Thank You for Your response. I know that these are quite expensive processors, it seemed strange because it was originally announced that the processors have up to 24 cores, and there are shown variations up to 33 cores.

Notice that the number of cores just increases by one, linearly . That is just place holders someone put in there without knowing the real info IMO.

Yes, that is probably the reason. Thank You once again for Your reply.
