Question AC power adapter not being detected causing performance throttling

Ive been having performance issues on my laptop recently caused by my battery/charger.
My laptop throttles my performance (most noticeable when playing games) when on battery. I haven't been able to change this in any settings.

It also has a real hard time detecting when its being charged. When I have it plugged in, it charges, but the LED indicator does not light up on the side of my laptop, I get this error when I launch my laptop: View: https://i.imgur.com/yhrlkbk.jpeg
.

When it is charging but not detected, the performance is still slowed.

Neither the charger or charging port (female side) are original, I have replaced both as they were giving me this same problem in the past and I hoped to be able to fix it myself with replacement. (replacement charger View: https://i.imgur.com/qPxxr53.jpeg

Sometimes it charges fine, other times it doesn't. Any ideas?

Edit: just checked and my charger is apperantly 65W. Is this my issue? if it is, why is it not an issue sometimes and othertimes it is?

That might be the cause of your issue. Work with genuine parts to help make sure that there aren't any compatibility issues.
