Accelerated Production

Accelerated production halves the number of shields needed to complete all
units and building projects. However, it also affects the AI players. It
is a good option if you want a shorter but larger game.

The production and food boxes in the city display will only be 5 high
instead of 10, thus doubling production and city growth.

Tech costs are 1/2 also but there is still the 4 turn minimum.

Halves everything. In my opinion, it makes it too easy..but I get to
nuke things faster in the end.

It makes everything half or less price - population growth food, unit
production shields, tech lightbulbs. It's used to speed up the game.

I personally prefer accelerated production; but then again I like to play
on huge maps, so accelerated production helps to speed things along.
