Im going to be traveling for work every week for up to a year. Looking for something that is serviceable gaming. While I do play graphically demanding games like RDR 2 etc. Id be happy with something that may work better just for paradox strategy games etc. as I do spend most of my gaming time on strategy games.

If this was going to be something I would be using for a long time to come I would be willing to spend more money. I know damn well It's gonna just collect dust when Im done traveling or more likely I will sell it. (I dont travel often, this is only the second time in 13 years at my company). That and I've never owned a gaming laptop, and have no idea what a good price/performance ratio is. I wouldn't normally do this, but I'm married now I know the wife will be none too pleased if I'm gone all week and spend my weekends home getting my gaming fix in. Also, if what I need costs more money than that so be it.
