Access Point via Powerline adapter

Hi,

Trying install 3 Access Points in the place where I can't run the wires.

Was wondering if Powerline(Ethernet over outlet) technology should do the trick? Lets assume that everything is on the same power/circuit.

My guess is that I shouldn't have any problems but would like to see what do you guys think?

Well thats the idea of Powerline, as long as you're not trying to run it too far it should be fine.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the line shouldn't run for more than 50 meters.

Do you think I still need PoE adapter for the AP or my POE switch should do the job? Not sure how would that work over the power outlet.

Powerline adaptors are access points powered by the socked. What are you hooking them up to?

Have you considered using power-line adaptors with built in wireless AP?

I've never ran PoE through a power-line adaptor before - interested in the answer to this.
