Accessing BIOS on New Motherboard Question

I'm going to be getting my first motherboard upgrade this Christmas. It's the MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard. After I install Windows 8.1, the usual log-in screen doesn't go through BIOS setup on my current HP board. It has the usual HP loading circle, then let's me log-in. If I install an aftermarket motherboard, will it actually allow me to choose the BIOS screen first? Or will I have to painstakingly go through the settings screen on Windows 8 to to choose BIOS on restart? Thanks everyone!

This is due to "Fast Boot" option in Windows 8.....

disable it.......then u can access the BIOS
