I need help converting a dynamic disk to basic disk. I really don't care about data loss since all I have in there are games which I barely play and I can download them again any time.

No need to download anything. You can easily change to Dynamic but to change back... the data would have to be deleted. Just go to Disk Management and DELETE the entire partition... create a new one... or if it's locked... just boot from your Windows Install DVD and go to Advanced Options... and delete from there..

I open it up with the windows 10 setup and I see both of the drives but I can't delete or format the partition on my hard drive which is the dynamic disk that I'm trying to convert to basic again.

Probably because the disk is locked... just boot up from your Window DVD.. and go to Advanced Options... then you can easily delete the disk from there.

Im in advanced options right now, what should I click on?

Alright, these are the options I get to chose from: System Restore, System Image Recovery, Startup Repair, Command Prompt, UEFI Firmware Settings, and Go back to the previous build

Boot up from the Windows DVD... you can even use the one from Windows 7... and proceed to the screen like you're going to Install Windows... then go to Advanced from there... Now you'll have the option of deleting a partition and creating a new one and to format it...

After you do all that... you can Exit out.. that's all you needed to do...

Thats what I did before and it says "We couldn't format the selected partition. [Error: 0x8004242d]." I also don't get the option to delete the partition.
