I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix my mistake. I tried recovering the old PK key with Recuva but I couldn't locate it after running the scan and also only a couple of files were marked with recoverable.

This is how I accidentally wrote over my backed up PK key like a moron not following the correct steps.

I was following this article to setup a dual boot between windows 10 and windows 7. I needed to disable secure boot in my bios.

I was following the "Step-by-Step: Take Backup of Existing Keys and Disable Secure Boot". I backed up and saved my secure boot keys onto my usb drive and completed that section.

So I then I went to revert back my bios settings. "Step-by-Step: Restore Keys and Enable Secure Boot" It said to "Follow steps 1 to 5 from the previous section. Use the USB drive that has the backed up keys" So I followed those steps.

Those steps made me save the newest PK key after deletion onto my usb drive which wrote over my backed up PK key. So now I can't load my old PK key back.
