Accidentally disable Inheritance Files.

Hi,

So I have 2 computers at location A (PC A) and B (PC B).

I bring HDD from PC B and put it inside PC A.

I download files using PC A and put it to HDD B.

When I put them back in PC B, the files are not accessible due to file permission.

Unfortunately for me, I remove the files inheritance which resulted in the files missing.

I already tick "Show Hidden" and "Show unprotected files"

So now, the files can't be seen (I think).

can't you go up 1 folder level, and re-push the inherited permissions down to those files again.

The file is located at "D:/"

I've tried doing it for the whole partition D:, but the files is still missing.

Is there any software that would enable me to view files that can't be viewed by me?

I've tried a few freeware Disk analyzer to view the files, but the files is still missing.
