Accidentally engaged Asus OC Tuner, PC no longer boots...

I was looking around the BIOS and, expecting to be taken to menu, clicked on 'OC Tuner'. My PC immediately restarted and has since been unable to boot. It turns on and back off again, maybe repeating a couple times before remaining on with the monitor remaining turned off. I have to pull the CMOS battery to get back into the BIOS and no amount of resetting will allow the computer to boot again. When I manage to get to the BIOS (again, by pulling the battery), I often see the message "Overclocking failed!"

The motherboard is an Asus P8Z68-V Gen 3. Any ideas?

Solution
I had an Asus p8p67 for a while and if memory serves I had to remove the cmos battery and leave the PC unplugged for several hours before it would completely reset the bios.

Asus do have a boot failure guard where a specific number of failed boots (normally 3) resets the bios. If you haven't actually had 3 failed boots in a row with all the same settings and no cmos battery removal the boot failure guard will not have kicked in, ime.

Update: I used a loose phrase when I should have been more specific.

Progress. Letting it fail to boot several times without changing the settings allowed get into the BIOS and have my changes stick and it would boot fine after a reset but not from cold. May just need to try different settings.

Edit: Never mind. Unplugging and plugging back in the GPU fixed it. All seems to be fine now.
