So I recently got a zotac gtx 1080ti. I was screwing in the gpu and my screw driver accidentally hit a capacitor and has a little dent but the card still runs fine and does it what its suppose to. Should I be worried? Thanks
Those small capacitors have two conductive plates inside that are separated by an insulator wrap. The material is soft and will "give" a little if dented. That should not affect performance or operation. If the insulation was punctured, the capacitor would fail from a short. I suspect that since it is working, you will be okay.
