I have an ACER ASPIRE 4730Z Notebook with CPU type:

Given this information, would anybody know if an Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 would be supported by my Notebook PC?

Core 2 E-series CPUs are desktop CPUs, and usually will not work in a laptop. Laptop versions are usually T-series model numbers.
